Red Beach Outrigger Canoe Club
Red Beach Outrigger Canoe Club is a young up and coming Waka Ama club that was established in 2018 to lead the development and practice of Waka Ama, with a key focus to promote Kaupapa waka as a positive activity to support cultural and physical wellbeing within the community.
Waka Ama has proven to be a growing team sport across New Zealand, The sport presents a rich history where identity, tradition and community is at its core and as a result, for many, Waka Ama is not just a sport but also a lifestyle.
Red Beach Outrigger Canoe Club was established in 2018 and is situated in Red Beach Whangaparāoa, Auckland New Zealand.

Red Beach Waka Ama Club expects all registered members to commit a certain amount of time and dedication towards activities that the club organizes and involves itself in.
As a member of the club your responsibilities are to:
- Foster the visions, values and objectives of the club
- Maintain the integrity of the Club at all times
- Commit to your team and be a team player
- Treat all of the clubs equipment with care and report any damages as per the appropriate guidelines
- Abide by the safety rules and regulations
- Treat all members of the club with courtesy and respect
- Participate in social hui events
- Assist in fundraising activities
- Pay membership fees on time
